As a stage performer I have been fashioning my own hair adornments for a number of years and my growing passion for all things millinery plus a number of requests for my services inspired me to create my Em Brulée Design range of fascinators for public consumption.

You can currently buy my fascinators in the divine vintage boutique Story of O in Leeds and I also taken numerous private commisions for fascinators for all occasions. My repertoire covers styles from demure classic vintage to outlandish showpieces where one really wants to stand out.

Em Brulée
I am Em Brulée, a vintage jazz and blues vocalist, burlesque/cabaret compere, purveyor of fine hair adornments, devoted glamourpuss and Donovan's Darling pin up.
I am an incredibly passionate performer and love nothing more than to entertain, surrendering to the joy of the music and creating an ambience of high vintage glamour and high jinks at every opportunity.
In my vocal performances I take inspiration from the charismatic and soulful Divas of years gone by. Billie Holiday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington to name but a few of these.
As a compere I am vivacious, playful and capable of creating the right mood for a variety of social occasions.
My experiences include numerous burlesque/cabaret evenings, corporate events, charity functions, weddings and private parties.
